ParentVUE Time Tracker: How to Enter & Submit Time for Your Child

Was your child unable to connect to a Zoom class?

If your child was unable to connect to a Zoom class for technical reasons, you can submit the time spent on the class using Time Tracker in ParentVUE.

Synchronous v. Asynchronous Learning

Your child’s teacher will be taking “synchronous” attendance when your child participates in Zoom class sessions. In the new remote learning environment, however, there are also opportunities for “asynchronous” learning that goes on outside of online student/teacher interaction. Your child’s time in this learning mode can be submitted using Time Tracker as well.

Tardy Codes

While any attendance code other than being marked present in a Zoom class  session will display as 'tardy', this has no negative effect on a student's attendance record during remote learning.

IMPORTANT: Time Tracker can be used in either the ParentVUE web application or the ParentVUE mobile app. Time Tracker will not work in the web application if your are using the Internet Explorer browser.

Online Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year

Online Registration (OLR) Is Not Available Through the ParentVUE Mobile App: You cannot complete Online Registration using the ParentVUE mobile app. You can, however, use a web browser on your mobile device (or computer) to sign on to the web version of ParentVUE to complete OLR. ParentVUE Web Version: https://parent.tusd1.org

AZMerit scores available on ParentVUE

Your child's AZMerit scores for the past three years are now available through your ParentVUE account. Just log in and click "Test History" on the left. If you need a ParentVUE account, please check with the office manager at your school to get set up.

How to get access to ParentVUE

You can get your ParentVUE activation information by dropping by your school's front office or at your students' back-to-school events. Please see ParentVUE Basics: Activation and Use. Also, see Activate Account Via the Mobile App.

We have implemented a new Student Information System called Synergy that lets you see your student's information through the ParentVUE web page and ParentVUE App for iOS and Android.

We take the security of your child's personal information very seriously. Because of this, we want to take the time to validate this information with you through the registration process.

Here's what you need to know:

  1. You can get your ParentVUE activation information by dropping by your school's front office.
  2. When you create your account, you will be able to see attendance, course history, teacher assignments and grades for all of your children at TUSD schools.

    Important note: Initial account activation can be performed through the ParentVUE website using a web browser or through the ParentVUE mobile app. Once you've activated your account, you'll then be able to log in on and view your student's information on the app.
