Prioritized On-Campus Service for High-Needs and At-Risk Students Began Aug. 17

Approved at the August 11, 2020, TUSD Governing Board meeting: TUSD will offer prioritized on-campus services to identified groups of students that represent a segment of the Tucson Unified School District’s overall student body defined as "high needs" or "at risk" starting on August 17, 2020. Additionally, there will be a delay of comprehensive on campus learning options for the entire district, outside of identified "high needs" or "at risk" groups, for the 1st quarter grading period (October 9, 2020) and until recommendations from the Pima County Health Department support a physical re-opening of campuses in the district for in campus instruction.
